Scripture: Romans 3:27-31

Observation: It is interesting to note in this passage that neither the Gentile nor the Jew may boast in either of their circumstances or heritage. The law of Faith is the standard by which both will be justified.

Application: In our time, it may be difficult for some to understand the idea of circumcision being something that one is to boast over but perhaps there are other conditions that may cause us to become arrogant and boast. Such things as where we went to school, the church we grew up in and was saved at. Whenever we look to other things other than God for our significance we negate the gift of the sacrifice of Jesus.

Prayer: Father help me to find my significance is you alone and not in other things. Amen
