We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 1 Corinthians 6, 7
God has called us to speak a message to a world that is becoming less and less aware of who God is. One of the things that I love about Velocity is that we will speak the message of Christ not just in words but in actions that people will understanding; Serving people and extending compassion speaks to our culture more than preaching about doing it. Connecting with people in relationships that are not skin deep but are deep and designed to bring about life change.
Someone once said that I preach everyday and sometimes I use words. Today I am convicted and challenging myself to preach Christ not just with words but with my actions. May God be glorified and the church be strengthened by my message of words and actions. Amen.
